Prof. (Dr.) Parminder Kaur Saini, is a committed academician, motivator and an expert on the subject, having vast experience in teaching at different levels. She has 18 years of experience in teaching and administration. Her motto is to impart not only the bookish knowledge to the students but also develop their over all personality and creativeness so that they are empowered to face the competitive world boldly. She lays special emphasis on practical handling of computers and on the job training, in many innovative ways. She has expertise in teaching the course contents in a simple and participative way, thus increasing the confidence and level of the learners which yield better results.Her experience in teaching, management and administration not only helps students achieve higher grade in their examinations but also prompts them to bediligent, confident and motivated pure IT Professionals. She has been honoured by many authorities/organizations from time to time. Besides writing books for the students in a self-explanatory and easy language, she has a keen interest in research work. She has already authored many books. Research work speaks volumes about her dedication to the world of computer education and IT adoption. She has published books and research papers at the national and international levels in SCI-indexed journals. A part of the above, presently, she is working at Sainik Institute of Management & Technology, Hoshiarpur Campus, that runs under the aegis of Directorate of Defence Services Welfare, Govt. of Punjab, and is affiliated to IKG Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
